Chassis with exhaust in place and molded in place manifolds painted. Trial fitted front suspension after I glued transfer case and it's gonna be nearly impossible to get driveshaft in there, so it may have to come out temporarily.

Have decided on interior colors - dark and light ghost grey. Instructions show two different greys, but Hobby Lobby didn't have one of the colors, so I went with the ghost greys.

Front suspension mounted (torsion bars and that crossmember are not glued in place yet.

Seats molded without backs, so I fixed that glaring problem. I may or may not try to fill those gaps.

Someone at Aoshima did a good job on the design of this kit. Suspension looks correct, brake calipers are duals in front and single in rear, and interior looks like a full scale Pathy scaled down.
I just wish it wasn't a curbside. Would have been nice to had a detailed engine.

Got some color on the body between the rain showers. Gonna let it dry for about a week, gently wet sand the bad spots, then putting a second coat of AH3 color on it before clearcoating.

Wet sanded and 3 coats later...

Gotta redo the darker grey on the interior parts. Color settled in the bottle and now it doesn't match where I painted the back seat and side panel accents.

Now I see (from your overspray) why Nissan put the Red interior in the Red trucks.

Just kidding
