Question 1993 Nissan D21 2wd 4cyl Cut Off While Driving

Hey guys, back again with another weird issue. I was casually driving in 3rd gear when all of a sudden the truck just cut off. It started again after 2 minutes and everything was fine. I'm really confused. Me and a friend recently did a timing job, clutch job, spark plugs, etc. The cam and ignition timing are set to base so don't think it could be that. I'm learning towards a fuel issue, i had to let it sit for around a month so maybe its a fuel issue? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Do something... pull the plugs, set them side by side and observe, then read this thread:
http://www.infamousnissan.com/forum/...ad.php?t=45561

All I'm going for on this is to have you confirm everything is working OK within the cylinders, after your maintance. Where the BANG happens! Get us a PIC of the plugs, if you have any questions or doubts.

Let us know...

edit: also, please update your D21 info, in your profile. Helps to know more about what you have...

So, it had one issue and it has never happened again?

Sounds like the beginning of an intermittent problem. Those are hard to find.

Document it as best you can.

Glad it's not happened again. Well, they are called "bugs" for a reason... please remember this.

Keep your Spidy Senses about you. If it happens again, try to note any odd details.

It's not a bug! It's a feature!

It could have been

-bad gas
-air or dirt in the tank
-dirty fuel pump
-the beginning of a component breakdown

1993...does it have a computer?
