Default V6 auto cluster into z24 manual

First question is "Can it even be done?"
2nd one is "How?'

I have the cluster and the complete harness from a v6/auto HB truck and want to swap it into my I4/manual HB. I'm aware that some features might not work. I don't have the fuel sending unit that will activate the "smaller" gas gauge. Has anyone attempted or completed this type of swap? Step-by-Step instructions would be terrific, but I'm a realist, a point in the right direction or a link would greatly be appreciated.

So, what does this V6 auto cluster have, that you want?
Also, what year is the system from?

Helps to have this info, to know if this is even possible...

To answer your question "what does it have that I want?" My speedo needle is broken/gone, so that basic function. I use the "waze" app for the moment but I want a functioning cluster just in case my dad or some one else happens to get behind the wheel. This other cluster also has a tach (that's cool). This is the first useable one that I have found and it just so happened to be in great shape, others either had the same issue as mine or were too far gone to be useable. I'm a cheap skate before anyone goes and mentions having some Company do some custom wiring to it. I'm looking for cheap and easy or nothing at all.

The wire colors will be the same for each function even if the connectors are different or if the wires are in different locations. The water temp is yellow/red regardless of the configuration. You should be able to take one wire at a time and either re-pin the new connectors with the truck’s original wires (assuming the pins are the same type) or splice the new connectors on.

thanks. I'm having trouble with the FSM link, but THIS^^^ helps. as long as I can trace the wire to the pin, I should be able to re-pin whatever, if needed.
EDIT: FYI I have the complete harness from the back of the cluster to the "block" junction, so hopefully I will only have to re-pin, and NOT splice. (fingers crossed)

Right now, I can't get the FSM link from Niccoclub to work for me. anyway you could email me the PDFs? poboi850@yahoo.com That would help out tremendously.
