A/C is nice. I'm lucky to also have a pretty well optioned (but older) car. If it's going to be one of those 100 degree days I'll drive that instead. I can't believe it still blows as cold as it does after all these years.

You know you drive a Hardbody when someone asks you what you drive and they 90 percent of the time they don’t know what a Hardbody is and wanna call it a Frontier. This happens to me every f%#king time

Or they think you are saying something dirty.

You know you drive a hardbody when you can't think how many you've owned over the years "first one 22 years ago". but still have to buy another because you can't get them out of your blood

You know you drive a Hardbody when you make plans to hit the junkyard before the remnants of Florence make it to your area.

Ha...you have the Hardbody bug and BAD. That was funny, though. I have visions of you out there in the yard with debris blowing all around.

My first Nissan truck was so long ago, it wasn't even a Nissan. It was a 1970 Datsun, WAY underpowered, followed by a series of the 720 trucks. I couldn't remember them all if I sat down and tried. On this '74 I pulled off the bed and the bumper and replaced it with Varathane-soaked (satin) 1/2" plywood, and then added stakes around it. Cut the weight so much that the back end of the truck went up about an inch and a half. Then I dropped in an L20-B with a Weber carb and bypassed the emissions. That thing went like a bat out of hell. You just had to watch it a bit on wet, or gravel-covered corners unless you had a load.

WORST Datsun I ever owned was a B-210. Those things will go sideways on you just breathing on them wrong. One time a friend and I were switching out the diff on it, and the jack slipped off on my friend while he was under the trunk area. I was actually able to hold up the back of the car until he got out of there. No weight at all in the back.

Now that is funny cause i freak when I get the Row 52 alerts from our Pick N Pull. I just know some butthead is going to ruin about 20 good parts trying to get the radio out. Heck I worked in a wrecking yard for a year or so just to learn how to get parts off the right way and I love those Hollander books. You actually get all the trucks for a certain year from all the yards in the US. In the last week there have been about 3 here and a lot more in the other states. I didn't know you could get them for LKQ even though their prices are a bit high.
