I am pretty convinced a plug wire has taken a shit and wiped a plug out with it too.

Or it dumped a valve.
Sounds simple, I know...but is the truck experiencing an ignition miss? Is it worse on higher speeds on the freeway...or worse on hills?

SIDE NOTES: (marked: PERSONAL) As some of you know, we run a small press called Adventure Books of Seattle. Last Sunday, our Office Cat for nine years, the famous 'Hobo', died rather suddenly of Cardiomyopathy (Hypertropic), a genetic condition common to Maine Coon cats, especially males. The vet could do nothing for him, and he went from running up and down the stairs to dying in less than a day. (It was decided to allow him to die at home.) But Hobo beat the odds by living to the age of 12, and when he died he did not suffer. (Most cats with this condition pass on between the age of 5-7.) After he died, we put him in a wooden box on his favorite bed, along with a blanket and some of his toys, and used my truck to take him far into the Olympic Mountains on Monday morning. He was buried four feet down, with a layer of heavy rock on top, finished off with dirt, at a beautiful overlook up the Skokomish River Valley. On the day he died, my wife held him the entire day, brushing and petting him, which calmed him a lot.

Some pictures attached. One about an hour before he died, the other in happier days. After a suitable period, we will select another office cat from the Auburn Valley Humane Society. Hobo served in this job for nine years, the longest of any of AB's cats, and was the first male to do so. He will be missed. We are in mourning.

Rest In Peace “Hobo” I can’t even imagine what I would do when our family dog finally says goodbye, I tear up thinking about that dreaded day

I know there is a section for this but I’m looking for some good condition Vg30e injectiors. From a quest or truck. My pathfinder is running like shit and my local mech who actually owns one(91) said it was the injectors.

Poor kitteh. I still hurt over finding my cat dead at the foot of my bed in march 2015.

It is idling horribly rich.....black smoke from the tailpipe when throttling, and missing on at least one cylinder, maybe two.

I grabbed my inductive timing light and hooked it up at 1am. I was hoping to see spark jumping out of a wire somewhere. I know now it is either a bad cap and rotor or a wire(s). The light wasn’t reading a constant signal from the plug wire to flash the strobe.

I have replaced wires and plugs, cap looks fine no corrosion. No smoke tho it just stalls and runs like shit almost like its towing a trailer all the time

I've been wanting to list this complete harness with injectors and fuel rail for $100, but I hate how ebay and paypal together seem to gang bang you after the sale.

RIP Hobo

I'm sorry to say I ran over a bunny in my Hardbody last night. Lil fucker had run past the truck and then darted back in front of it last second. Had a small deer do that also when I was driving through Wyoming about 10 years ago. Sucked real bad.

A KA D21 popped up at the local JY yesterday so I ran there to get the PS tensioner. Damn truck didn't have PS! But it was turbo. Someone must've gotten there before me and pulled the turbo components and installed NA parts because the motor looked stock.

Ended up getting the pulley from CarQuest and got PS running again. Back to one finger Cadillac steering.

My pissed off VG30i. The used throttle sensor failed the wide open throttle OHM test. It started off at .7 ohms and at wide open throttle it scrambled around and was still .7 ohms. Yeah so that explains the horrible idling.

Started by organizing the garage a little. Got to the MPFI stuff I plan to use and got distracted. I proceeded to remove all the unnecessary junk. The intake looks pretty bare! Contemplating painting it blue to match the accessory brackets and spark plugs and wires.
