Default Speedometer Fix

Here's a vid on how I fixed my speedometer! Let me know what you guys think and if it worked for you 100%. All I used was a 1/8 rubber vacuum hose. The plastic tip must fit very snug so it won't get pushed in or out. The same goes for the other end that hooks up to the cable. If it slips off on either side just use a smaller diameter hose.

Yeah mine kept going out. I heat shrink tubed it but the tip kept coming out. The problem was that the tip kept disengaging from the metal tip of the cable. This way the rubber hose actually grips the metal tip and doesn't come off. I'm thinking eventually the hose will get brittle and come off. Just like the plastic one. But for $0-4 it's better than buying a $400 cable at my local dealer!
