Default Seal on the window and door question

Hey everyone,

I have a 86 D21 and wanted to know if anyone knows where I can get the window trim? its not the weather stripping but rather hard plastic? I started cracking and when I closed the door the other day it actually broke apart. Any leads would be awesome!

Not a problem! I've got nothing better to do at a machine shop while my machine is running.

Unfortunately, no.
I would love to and have the knowledge of making my own simple parts.
My company is a rather large scale company that makes all sorts of tubing/pipe/valve components.

What you want is actually called a "glass run"(what you have in red). The "welt"(painetrain put up) is on the body and slides onto the pinch weld, and is the same color as in the interior and has a rubber seal attached to it. The two can be easily confused, no offence painetrain..
try oem pt# (glass run)
rt 80330-01G61
lt 80331-01G61
hope it helps
