I gotta admit, the couple times I've had to put full body weight on the tailgate since installing these things I've been pretty apprehensive about it. No flexing or funny noises so far.

I could probably take mine off, too.

I noticed they don't do anything now, but I wanted to give it a few miles to make sure they worked.

So far, so good. The bed seems to be laying just right, but I haven't gotten pictures for others yet.

If there is a droop, it isn't too bad to me.

Mine was a noticeable drop below thew 90 degree level. Maybe I ordered for the wrong application. Or, they sent me the wrong ones.

Here's a pic of mine too. I installed the cables opposite JP so that if I were to remove the tailgate they'd just go with it like the scissor bars did.
