my titans bodied on 6's...28s could be done but u wouldnt have any sidewalls on the tires. my hood is tubbed for the 26s.....28s layin frame only would be about the same as 26s bd
the headlights are tight for sure, about 3/4" away

Mine laying frame on 26s....
I would have room up top for 28's but my firewall would need to be cut more. With the 26s, it was almost touching it. (it had been tubbed originally, just not to fit 28s)

here is a friend of mines titan on 6s... It has custom control arms using chevy knuckles I think...
