Default D21 tub (bed) swap

My old 1987 D21 4x4 double cab ute has rust holes in the tub/bed. It failed its inspection because of the holes.
Anyone know if I can use a D22 tub/bed instead? The D22 is also a 4x4 double cab ute so I'm hoping it's a straight swap.

Thanks in advance.

I don't think the body lines would match up.

Thanks, it's a really old ute (truck) not too worried about the body lines, more concerned about the mounts and how it will sit on the chassis and against the cab.
