Hello from Tucson. I'm in my mid-30s, and have loved the look of old boxy trucks for a long time. I can't think of none more boxy and unassuming than the D21 [Toyotas are too flashy
![]() Completely new to diagnostics and car work, but I am by process of elimination trying to figure out why my "new" 1995 hardbody automatic has very low RPM when idling in drive/reverse/1/2. So far I've done relays, spark plugs/wires, the ignition coil, air filter, upstream 02 sensor, and sealed up any cracks in duct work. No cigar and my next area of focus is probably the MAS and vacuum leaks and hoses (unless anyone else has ideas). Never thought I'd be a car guy, but I decided it was time to learn something new. I am a major perfectionist and look forward to slowly chipping away and making a daily-driver that I'm proud of. |
