Its all good Kevin. All after markets are junk in my opinion. I paid $80 for it and it had bent corners and the curve down the front had a major flaw. I would rather suck it up and spend the extra dough and do it right.

My response to the last poster about when I plan to have it finished. My plan is to debut it in Feb. at Lone Star Throwdown. The plan is to drive it to and into the show. Trailering it just won't do for me.

Still waiting on pics from painter. The ones sent yesterday were the same ones I already had, Here is another teaser.
Whats really funny is how how this trucks sits compared to my other trucks I have had. I have my 18" Titans on the rear for the ride home on the tow dolly. The stockers that came on the truck are good for getting paint work done but not so good for traveling. Didnt want to take any chances of a blow out.
Anyway, this truck sits so damn high off the ground. I know the truck is gutted but it sits as high as my old chevy. Thank god I am static dropping this bitch with 3" Belltech drop leafs in the rear and 2" spindles up front.

LOVE the paint scheme David! Very unique, and classy. Reminds me of the paint schemes on classic semi trucks, like the seminole paint scheme which is my favorite.

The 87 went back to the painters today for touchup work and to finish things that need to be done. It won't be complete for LST, but might be real close. It s going to be crunch time the first weekend of Feb.
