Default Dying a cloth seat

What works best, spray on upholstery dye, the dye from a fabric store. Iím not going to change color.

When I saw the title I thought it said “DRYing” a cloth seat. I was thinking just take it outside lol. No experience with dye myself, but welcome to infamous Nissan.

I've seen people use RIT dye in water, soak a rag in it with gloves on, and rub down a seat with a similar color to bring back the look. Would have to remove them for sure. I've not done it personally. I'd like to dye mine also, but want to color change from bluish-grey to red/maroon. Not sure how well it will work out.
