Default 240sx intake swap issue

okay i have done the swap but it runs really rich and misfires when its warm on cold start up its runs great just minor misfire still.

What im running
-240sx ecu
-240sx maf
-new injectors

i wired the maf up correctly and regrounded it so i get 12+volts to the maf and signal back to the ecu is good

Waiting for a new dizzy to come in maybe in 2 weeks and ill update how it goes because i read on some forums that they had same issue and it was due to bad/dirty pickup on dizzy and bearing on dizzy acts up when warm.

Also does anyone know how to use the air screw on the side of the manifold?

Thankyou

You use the screw to adjust the idle. You want around 800 rpm at warm idle. What is your timing set at? I set mine around 12 to 13 degrees as the 240 ecu seems to like a little more timing. Truck calls for 10 and the 240 calls for 15.

its set at 15
idle just seems rough when warm and when im timing it the timing light is intermittent its flashes on the dot of 15 but its just not consistent itll be flashing good then no flash then flashing good again. so im hoping new dizzy fixes it idk

did you change to the 240 cam as well? I'm not sure if that would cause a difference, its just a thought. I ran the intake with a truck ecu and a stage II cam.

Have you checked for any codes? I know mine ran off at times when my ecu coolant temp sensor went out. More so when it was warm. Should show as code 13.

+1 Make sure you are not fighting a code.

Intake Air Temp is the MAF code.

If you have that, your ECU is putting the engine into limp mode.

In other words, you have to fix it. There is no symptom to fix. You are fighting an ECU condition.
