i dont think youd know really unless you looked at the plug would you? the second antenna could be buried somewhere else.

I also thought this was an 80's nissan thing.

Went to the junkyard today for a lexus headlight. I ran across a 95 Hardbody that had the oem flipup sunroof intact. I was gonna grab it, but I ran out of time. I had to leave the damn thing. The gasket was trashed, but the glass and latch were still good. The glass needed the rim seal.

There was a lady that posted on here a few weeks ago looking for replacement sunroof glass.

They required an antenna adapter to use an aftermarket head unit.

Cadillac called me while I watching roadkill to see if the sunroof was worth pulling.

I've seen two versions of the diversity antenna - one with a 2 pin male radio plug, and one with a standard antenna plug.

Mine was the standard plug which fell off and had to be replaced.

I took off my plastic shrouds around the ignition switch, and the little plastic covers around the airbag area to locate an annoying rattle. Fixed rattle, replaced all covers. How do you test it's fixed? You should see the pothole-filled alley near where I live...

I also saw a connector with yellow and white wires that looks like it goes to the airbag. I know about disconnecting the battery for a while before trying to disable the airbag. Sorry, but I don't want to trust a 21-year-old airbag and want to disable it. Maybe you just separate that white connector after an hour or so?

I would sure appreciate some suggestions on a pair of running lights for this truck. Something good, something bright. In Washington State you are allowed two running lights for ON-road use, besides your headlights. I also would like to ditch the sealed-beam main lights for something better, but no Christmas-tree LED setups. You know...those headlights that run like 20 or so LED's in there. I never liked those.

I'm even willing to go to a more powerful alternator, if necessary.

Best post I've seen all week is The Tree That Wouldn't Stay Down. That's amazing.

OK, here's the Amazon test.

These are very good, brighter than stock, but stock looking HELA headlights for our trucks:

Yeah, they are E-Code, not DOT, so you might get more oncoming traffic flashing their brights at you.

DOT bulbs are designed to fill more light to the RIGHT side because oncoming traffic is on the LEFT.

E-Code bulbs are designed to fill more light to the LEFT side because oncoming traffic in Europe is on the RIGHT.

For extra lights, you could always run a LED light bar and blow everything out of the way.

Here are a cheap set that has great reviews:

For extra alternator power, there is a sticky on here about doing the QUEST Alternator Swap.

125 AMP Nissan quest alternator upgrade
