I'm sure there are threads on this, quick search and they will turn up.

Are you looking to purchase or ideas?

Looking for factory (OEM) or aftermarket options?

There was a time a few years back when I bought new stock-type FRONT fender flares online, but whoever manufactured those seems to have stopped. In fact, here is the link I saved:

http://www.discountbodyparts.com/cat..._3-dot-0L.html

I was not able to find REAR fender flares at all.

Now, it seems, your only option is to find someone selling their used fender flares.

Where is the aftermarket manufacturer for these?

The front fender flares on a 2x4 truck do not fit exact. They leave small gaps at the bottom to fit the stock fender's natural flare on a 4x4 truck. If you have a 2x4 and want the extra room from 4x4 fenders, that is an easy swap. You just have to paint to match.

Similarly, the backs of 4x4 trucks have larger fender bulges than 2x4 trucks. That swap is not as simple, though. You will either need to swap beds (easiest) or cut out the fenders on the 4x4 truck and weld them onto your 2x4 truck.

Really? I did not know that the 4x4 trucks had different fender bulges. I knew about guys grafting on the fender bulges from the 2door pathfinders, but I did not know that the trucks had larger bulges.
I guess I should get out more.

You could be right. Those larger steel fenders could be from Pathfinders only.

Can you believe I don't know ANYONE IN PERSON who has a 4x4 Hardbody that I can look at? In fact, I am the only person I know in real life who owns a Hardbody. So, my information could be tainted.

My 86.5 2wd has oem fender flares. I’m gonna take them off when I get the top end finished.

The 4x4 trucks have a much larger bulge in the front flares. Not sure about the rears. Mine are fairly good sized too.
