Thought about removing some more interior panels. 0 degrees out with a high of 6. Afraid of cracking the plastic. Iíll stick to the couch until it warms up.

Default Restoring wheels

Found some Chevy wheels cheap. I spent my weekend with paint stripper and a wire brush. Had I known how much elbow grease was involved, I might have sprung for the sandblaster route. Next, polish the face, prime and paint the inset portion, then clearcoat the whole shebang. Spacers and deeper lug nuts are on order, I want to try the spacer method before I decide if I want to waller out the hubs.

Well, that's good. I'm hoping for an early spring melt. These days, you can never tell. One year the snow sticks around above 3,000 into June. The next year everything to that level is gone by mid-March. (In the WA state Olympic Mountains)

I didn't do anything on the truck today. Worked right through Saturday this week. I even slept through the NFC Championship game with the cat snoring nearby. Had a radio going on low volume though.

The older you get...the more you hate winter. You'll find out. A few years ago I figured out why some people retire to Arizona. I used to think they were foolish, and would miss all the great NW stuff. Now I envy them and I'm starting to look at desert camping gear at Amazon.

We haven't even had winter yet. Got a mild fall so far but no winter down here. One of the older gentleman I grew up around is an absolute beast. He has to be in his 80s, clears his driveway by hand when it snows, built his new barn and still carries telephone poles over his shoulder. The nicest and quietest spoken person I've ever met. He could absolutely crush you if he wanted but doesn't even yell at his dog. His dog likes to try to eat my heels. I am not adverse to yelling at the dog. I wanna be like that guy when I grow up!

Your cat snores? I don't ever think I've witnessed a snoring cat. Purring, yes. Snoring, no.
