1993 Nissan D21(2WD) pinion seal replacement - Infamous Nissan

Hello fella's!

I see, on the "VERY FEW" posts, and/or videos, about replacing the pinion seal, a 30mm socket was used.

The video was a 1995 4X4 truck.

So I ran to O'Rilley's and bought a 30mm socket!

(Thinking they would all be the same.)

Well, low and behold my nut is smaller somehow?

Anyone here know what size the nut, for a 2WD is?

I know how to do the job, just trying to save 500 trips to the parts store trying to buy the right socket.

Figured it out already.

27MM

Same as carrier bearing, and crank shaft bolt sizes.
