This guy was rolling around in traffic with me a while back.
What makes this truck even more desirable is the original blue & yellow license plates from the 80’s. ![]() Last edited by PorknBeans; 01-28-2023 at 04:10 PM. |

I had the honor of parking next to this automatic transmission, King Cab, rear slider window Datsun steel body yesterday while awaiting a frontend wheel alignment. The interior was in very good condition and had refurbishment written all over the interior of the cab. But the terrible reflection of me on the driver's window did not make it worth snapping a photo. Just know it was in very good condition.
I never saw the owner to talk with him about his truck. As I was at this frontend specialist shop for about an hour and this shop has been here for 60 years! I recall it being here when I was just a kid. But a timeless truck without a doubt! I am very fortunate to document these trucks as I come across them at very random times. But life can be very random as well. I will continue to document and post Datsun trucks or 510 Sedans as I come across them. Enjoy! ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by PorknBeans; 01-28-2023 at 12:31 PM. |

Looking at the side-by-side photo. My ‘97 D21 looks like a monster truck compared the Datsun!
I believe this truck has the 1600cc motor. If I did a side-by-side photo of a Nissan Frontier from 2010+. That Frontier would look like a monster truck next to mine! It just puts things into perspective on how vehicles have grown since yesteryear. |

My neighbor just brought home a 720 and parked it in the driveway in front of his other non runner of a '69 Econoline.
The fucker, tease me with two favorites...
