I think the ECU uses that line to determine how cold the engine is. You can do without it, but the engine doesn't run very well when it is cold.

Ok so what did you do about the fuel pump? do you have to rewire it to get rid of the prime up or to keep it running after the engine starts. Also the breathers on the valve cover's did you just pipe them into the ports they went to originally or did yocap them off and put a filter on the valve cover.

My breather is open for now. I had it routed back to the carb air filter with a heater hose for a long time. I ended up taking it off. I would love to find one of the push on beather filters like the chevy and fords use.

So Autozone has a breather that fits a 3/4" tube, if you flatten out the bump on the edge it will fit on the inside of the tube on the valve cover. I am thinking that I will try to cut a piece of the tubing to give it some rigidity and let it stand up strait. The other option is they have one that fits a 1" tube and that might fit over top of the tube on the valve cover but I didn't buy one of those. Might be ablr to cut some slits in the breather tube to see if it will fit better. I will post a picture of what I do.
