Default Ka24 and z24

Hey yall,

So Ive been reading up a bit on the z24 and from what I am finding some parts off of the ka24 would work on the z24 and that they are essentially the same block. Is that true? And can anyone point me in the direction of more info on the z24? Im a bit of a tinkerer and would like to pick up another z24 truck to play with again.

check things like main bearing sizes. you can get data like that from places like autozone.

dont expect bolt patterns for the heads to be the same but i wouldnt be suprised if the basic shape and mounts between the two castings were the same.

Not a lot of interchange between the two engines honestly.
