Default Stick's meetups

Been attending a few shows and meetups lately.

Haven't won anything yet, but always plenty of interest.

Anyway, one from the latest meetup.

Actually what always gets me is how big the 720 and d21's are compared to the earlier gen vehicles. My truck here looks like what Ford rangers look like to me.

That looks like fun. I think I would like to go to the next one.

No...wait on that for a minute. I have to look at the map again.

My lousy attempt at humor. Actually, that meetup looks like fun. Isn't that your flatbed, the one at the end? Yes. I would vote for it.

From the sounds of things you would be able to tell us a thing or two about the old datsun engines, you would have loved it.

Yea, my black truck on the end.

I know one thing about the old Datsun engines. They were easy to bypass emissions, and you were better off dumping your current motor (L-16/18) for an L-20B and a Weber carb. Then they went much faster.

Like a 1978 610 sedan, for example. Mine was orange LOL. We dumped the emissions and replaced the stock L18 with a 20B and a Weber in maybe three hours. They were so simple back then, I swear. I think the one in the picture has been lowered.
