Default AC question

The label under the hood says.

(2) Before starting the compressor under the following conditions, engage and disengage clutch (3 sec. on - 3 sec. off) several times at low engine speed.
*After suspension for one week or more.
*Ambient-temperature below 60F (15.5C).

Are they talking about the compressor clutch or the transmission clutch? If the transmission clutch, what would that do?
If the compressor clutch, would that just be turning it on and off via the push button?

By suspension, do they mean not using it for longer than 1 week?

They are talking about the AC clutch. You would just use the AC button to activate it. You will probably need the HVAC fan to be switched on for it to work.

Must be for the AC. My truck didn't come with AC, but it did come with a manual transmission.
