Did find some enclosures but nothing hardbody specific. Since I'm 100 miles from my truck at the moment, anyone care to go see what kinda clearance is under the bucket seats?

That Kenwood isn't a bad deal. Never going to slam like a ported setup or anything, but might surprise you. A friend had that exact Kenwood in his Colorado and it added a VERY NICE bass fill. Very similar to a small 10 in a sealed box.

I don't know the clearances off the top of my head, but I did have my amplifiers mounted under the seat under my D21, and they got banged/scratched up by the seat. Not much room under there. My new setup will have them mounted either on the back wall, or on a rack in the bed.

I'm thinking thats maybe just what I need. I'm doing 6 1/2" in the doors and back wall on a small amp. And I thought about doing a bass tube in my xcab daily but didn't want to use up any room. I just want a good sound, and not waking the neighborhood.

Be sure to get shallow 6.5" because i had problems with my JL speakers and ended up making pods for them, and moved the window switch into them.

I have that SW11 in my truck with 6.5" speakers. I have a little review and showing on the install somewhere in this section. Its not a bad sub. In a single cab it can thump pretty well and make the mirrors rattle.

I remember in the 90's Rockford fosgate, kenwood, Orion, and mtx all made under seat subs. I never had one, but I have seen them. I don't think they'd fit under hardbody buckets though. One cool specialty sub I did have when I was a kid was the one that goes in the spare tire well in the trunk that kicker made. It was a nice sub.

I have one of these behind my passenger seat (Driver's side to you, had to put it there due to a bump in the floorpan) and paired with a 1000w Mono Block bridged it happily shakes the windows

The kenwood powered sub mostly fits under the passenger seat with the ECM. Close enought it doesnt matter. Probably would fit 100% under the drivers seat especially if the seat was pulled before install.
