Thanks for the feedback. After shooting both this afternoon, I'm not convinced either is what I'm going to buy. After a few shots, both felt too small in my hand. I also shot a Glock 43 and that was much better but it didn't work for carrying it concealed on my belt at the front. I might have to compromise on this, maybe the perfect fit doesn't exist.

Going appendix carry?

The 43 fit but a G19 was too small? 43 is way smaller than the 19!

if youre in that price point consider an HK vp9 for a striker gun. its a little bulkier (double stack) but has good handling.

also consider a springfield mod2 maybe? they come in single and double stacks. i presume you arent looking for a hammer gun.

Check out the Ruger security 9. It is a double stack 9 mil, 15 in the tank and one in the pipe. I have one and it actually has a better palm feel than my g19.

I ordered a Hellcat OSP yesterday. Finally going to replace the PPS for my daily CCW.

I'm not familiar with the hellcat.

Got Cylinder and Slide goodies for my HiPower. I'm at the second hour of fitting the safety to the new, thicker, sear. Once I get that done I can figure out why it won't drop the hammer.

It did get a complete spring refresh as well which is nice. Hopefully the trigger is just as good as it was before which was phenomenal for a HiPower. 17lb recoil spring, 21lb hammer spring (JMB's spec was 32lb) and a different firing pin spring to go with the C&S hammer spring. Probably 3000+rnds a year on it and it looks like it's holding up well! Yay!!

Can't believe I wore out a HiPower sear and hammer. Especially onna Dan Wesson built gun.

The hellcat is smaller than the PPS in both length and height and only adds a few mm in thickness, but it's got double stack 13 round mags instead of a single stack 7rnd mag. I've gotta reload some more range ammo to give it a proper test, but I put 20 rounds through it this weekend and first impressions are good. Gonna try to whip up some range ammo over the next 2 days. I won't carry a gun until I put 500 rounds through it, so time to get loading haha.

I just got some (half case) of 124gr 9mm loaded up yesterday. Mm.

The C&S Hipower kit turned out amazing! Maybe 4lb trigger.

Nice. I'll be loading up 147grn FMJs, I try to keep my yard plinking subsonic even if I'm not using a can just to reduce noise.

I loaded half a case of 9mm 165s. 775FPS at 2.8gr of titegroup. They are full on compressed loads and very giggle worthy. The bullet is HUGE! Stupid quiet in my 34 with a can. Should be nuts in my 17L with a can too. They were amazing in the BHP with a can.
