on my MAF I had to wire it weird, you have to look at the diagrams for the wire positions and not the color of wire. mine was actually black to white and white to black.

the iac has to be after the tb and before the maf. and the only vac lines u really need are the fuel pressure regulator and the brake booster.

Alright, ill give this thing another try. Swapped intakes and everything runs fine, when my MAF sensor connector is unhooked, but is in safe mode and I cant get above 2500 RPMs. When I plug in the connector the truck starts to idle rough and almost comes to the point of stalling out. Ive grounded the MAF sensor like said, my wiring is correct:
A=black/white B=white C=black, I dont know what else it could be. Ive gone to the parts store and connected a brand new MAF sensor and still idled rough. Needing some help, let me know

alright so tinkering with it, i found that my ground going to my MAF sensor doesnt have a solid ground..somewhere in the wiring harness it doesnt get a good connection. how i found this was measured my 12.5 volts from the MAF connector straight to body/frame, came to 12.5..measured from same leg to ground on MAF connector..11.9.........i made a jumper and wired it in..it starts right up and idles fine. BUT somewhere there is still something causing the ECU to go into safe mode..still cant get above 2500 RPMs..starts to jump like its running on one cylinder..

and the vacuum lines, everything i know is connected and isnt sucking..ill go look around some more..what vacuum lines would cause this?
