I know man, us VG guys don't get jack. I have trouble finding anything about this motor. I don't seem to have the wiring harness in the same area as the 4cyl. I dunno where that is on mine.

do you guys mean reading VG30E CEL lights by blinking? i had a VG30E Maxima, especially early 90's VG30E CEL rarely come on and when they do, theyre hard to read. CEL on them are more trouble than theyre worth

Digging in the 1994 Service Manual's EF section, I can verify those wires exist in there. I'll just have to look and see where they are in the truck.

Looking at the d21_truck_1989.pdf manual (get it, if you don't have it), page 232 or EF & EC-18 shows that your Pin 29 of the ECM goes to the Vehicle Speed sensor. There are other wires/pins for the throttle sensor, exhaust temp sensor, head temp sensor, and air flow meter going to pin 26, though.

I have that one but wasn't sure where to look to find that stuff. Thanks for the assistance... now if I can just find where those actually go into the engine bay... I feel like it would have been easier to work on this stuff while I had the dashboard out.
