Picked up some Z71's for $40.00, with wicked bad corrosion on the lip from lead wheel weights, Stripped them, sanded out the corosion and powdercoated them black with a red tape pinstripe so I can put on a set of rag tires and get ready to set the ride height.

Pulled my torsions and cut the bumpstops out, still not laying frame, with some investigation I found that the upper balljoint is binding so it is time to flip em.

Suspension is set, Did a pipe notch because I want the bed floor unmolested. I built and have installed my heim joint 3 link., Bag mounts front and rear and installed. Yesterday I mounted my air tank, bag valves and ran the airlines. I mounted the valves as close to the bags as possible to reduce drop time. used the panhard bar from an old 4door civic. Just need to run my wiring into the cab, Mount my compressors and plumb the airtank (still running on House air)

Will get picks of the suspension today.

Here is the front bags in and aired up about 6 inches of lift.

the rear 3 link with panhard bar, Plumbed and wired for testing, 10 inches of lift.

as this is a lowbuck build my valves are modified Lincon airbag valves, one for lift and one for dump on each corner, fronts mounted behind the side lights fetween fender and the fenderwell, rears are mounted the rear xmember.

Next on the adjenda is prepping and painting the engine compartment, the previous owner had the clutch cylinder go out and leak all over the drivers fenderwell peeling it to bare metal thus there is some serious surface rust to remove as well as a very coroded battery tray to remove. this will have to wait untill about tuesday or wednesday night as I am in Pullman for the Mens rowing crew open house and banquet, My son is one of the Novice lightweights, going to watch him race today.

Well the engine is in, not completely hooked up yet, Found a near perfect dash pad at the pick n pull, repaired it and painted top black, bottom grey. Still having a little trouble getting it to seat properly. Last night I shortened my 200SX header because it was hitting the floor.
