Not sure how it happened but I have a crack in my windshield on the passenger side and it’s kind of made a loop around and now covers a good portion of the windshield.
I’m sure this is happened to others who did you use what kind of cost?

i cant say for sure in usa, but in aus i could have a replacement done next day for like 150 AUD, so that should be like 50-100 USD unless they gouge your eyes out for everything over there.

My eyes are hurting already! I had a chance today to talk to 2 companies one Safelite So that they could probably not get the windshield and a second local company gave me a price of $300 to $350 depending on the trim I wanted

Check with your insurance company to see if you have a glass rider on your policy. I think it's the sort of thing you have to request to be added on so you may not have it, but it's worth a phone call to find out.

Hi Tropical,
My windshield replacement was 252 dollars, from Safelite in January of 2017, including the black trim at the upper edge of the windshield. The first windshield they brought out had the chrome trim and I refused to have it installed since my stock trims are black so specify which trim you want before they get there. I did specify the trim I wanted, but the trim they sent was not what I had ordered.
I would call Safelite back to have them verify that they can or can not get your window. I know that they are still being made so they may just need a kick in the duff to get it ordered for you.

I have comprehensive (which includes glass coverage) on my 2004 Frontier and our 205 Yukon. In Phoenix, when one gets windshield replaced under insurance, many companies actually hand over a $100 bill at time of the installation, like I did 2 years ago on the 2004, and in my driveway too. So there's a lot of profit "engineering" in windshield replacements.

Now, for my 1998 Frontier I only have liability insurance, so if you don't have insurance make sure to ask for the CASH PRICE, will be lots lower. I'd say under $150 USD in most areas.
