Default Must be social media????

We'll probably my fault since myface and spacebook started to rule the world and I opted out of it. What sites are good about future mini truckin events, I can find plenty of hot rod shows but don't seem to find any shows like slamfest, RA all star, scraping the coast unless I type the name of the show in Google. Unless I get equipped with ESP it's getting harder to even know what to search for. I didn't know "made of steel" was not a movie until it got listed in another thread. I thought I would be smart and get on "drop em wares" site and look what events they plan to attend, looked like last update was 2015, AHAH can't win.

This kinda goes hand in hand with show coverage in another thread:

I updated what I found a little over a year ago but not sure how current it is now, any other suggestions?

Just a random question do you think mini trucks are making a come back, staying about the same, or falling off the map. I would poll this but depends more on your location than anything else. In my area in the last year have seen more minis rolling around but across the nation seems about the same. The other problem with a poll is they don't make true mini trucks anymore, I can register my rides as antiques if I wanted to in my state. Wish this wasn't the case, if you can build a smart car you can make a mini truck you bastards (yes I am talking to you- chevy, toyota, ford, nissan, and anyone else that accepts my hard earned cash for a quality product).

I think the drift truck thing is taking over where minitrucks left off. There is no scene where I live whatsoever, it's all diesel quad cabs around here. I am the only one around here.

Wish I could help you with the shows aspect but there is nothing around me. I tend to go to hot rod shows with friends but I haven't entered my truck in any shows in years.

I keep hoping that the more of us that refrain from the use of social media there are, the more of a push it'll put on people to update their websites.

But yeah as far as shows go I haven't seen or heard of a minitruck show in a long time. There used to be some at Import Alliance every year but I haven't been up there since they moved it from the speedway.

im with you Foul Mouth, nothing but little weenie trucks here riding dixie (damn it looks stupid).

the minitruck scene used to be HUGE in south Fl but not right now. i do however expect a comeback. in the old car scene the thing here is square body chevys right now. i suspect its a matter of time till square body mini trucks become the thing again.

it's going to be real interesting as you cannot find an 80's yota anywhere in south Fl right now. if you do its crazy priced. d21's can be found but are few and far. anything small and 4x4 here gets shipped to latin america or haiti.
