Default 94 4cyl runs like a tractor?

This has been an ongoing issue and for the life of me I can't figure it out. When cold the truck runs like a tractor, you can see the truck shake. Kinda sounds like it's missing on a cyl or two. Kinda chug chug chug. Anyway, usually driving around low rpms 1500-2000 ish it's sounds like it misses, but clears up after 2000 rpm. Any ideas what to look for?

check your spark plugs and wires along with rotor cap and button. that could be a big issue and timing could be off.

The service manual actually says to make sure the timing is set BEFORE checking the codes.

Check the timing on a Nissan KA24:
