if your gonna do it right, replace the expansion valve. undo the lines under the hood at the firewall, remove the 10mm bolt on the wall between the two lines, and remove the metal plate.

remove glove the glove box and rear metal plate. there is one 10mm nut at the top of the evap box and two 10mm bolts or nuts at the bottom. unplug the blower resistor and the thermal sensor harness. grab the evap box from the top and bottom and wiggle it back and forth while pulling back towards you. if you can, have someone push on the fittings under the hood. it will help. BE CAREFUL when doing this or you will break the evap box drain nipple. ask me how i know.

i went to walmart and bought some of the universal door adhesive weatherstrip and used it to seal where the evap box meets the heater box and the blower box.

I built an entire add on air for a hardbody last year, so I'm all too familiar with the parts.
I'm going to buy the other parts I need next week, and order the o rings I need as well. Evac the system on a Saturday and rebuild the AC on sunday.. pretty much turn it into a weekend project.

I checked out his link, no picture. I'm not really into buying things online unless I have a picture to go with it.

It wasn't you. I got onto the site after your purchase post and it said there was one left. Between putting it into my cart and paying for it- poof. Sigh.

There is not a pic, but that is the part number taken from Nissan Fast. If you search the part number on google, some links will show the picture.

Between Thursday and Friday this week, I'll be getting a new drier/receiver and a new expansion valve, and ordering new O-rings with shrader valves and port caps.
