I know that the power transistor from the ECU controls the coil. Not sure if there is another wire that can be used to control timing. Only thing at the distributor is the crank angle sensor.

I have spent hours reading and Im sure you're thinking the same thing i am "how can you control timing when its got something mechanical like a distributor but it seems like some people have done it in the 240's. Yes you're right the only wires are to the coil and sensor. Do yo know which wire comes from the ecu to the coil? in other words what Pin?

Should be the white wire in the second bank of ECU connector. This bank should have 14 spaces but I only had 7 wires in it. Should be the only white wire in the bunch. Pin 1.
