If you use single stage, it should take about 3-4 quarts unreduced.

I have used Rust-Oleum bedliner and it comes out great on the bed. I wouldn't know how it will look on the entire body but with your budget, I wouldn't care much. Reason why I like Rust-Oleum is that it goes on smooth and it's not very picky as to how you apply it (forgiving). Go to Walmart and score you a couple of gallons like I did for $45 each. You will have enough $ over to buy the applicator kit (which is I think like $10). Link below:

1 to 2 coats will look a bit bad, but with 3rd coat, she will all be one color and smooth.

my 87 d21 is completely painted in liquid bedliner. bought it that way. it's proven to be kinda cool. the girl at sonic's wanted to feel it one day and it's great for scratching an itch on. touchups are easy, just hit it with semiflat black.

yeah So I went to harbour freight and bought a $25 spray gun hooked up to my air compressor and sprayed on some rustoleum protective enamal. It turned out pretty good still need to do a second coat though when the weather gets nicer. But im pretty happy.
