I thought it was p/n 30537, but the part I picked up from Nissan is around 3/4" longer than the original! I don't know if I should just send it and pay the consequences later or what!
Any ideas? https://photos.app.goo.gl/i8LiKUpk9bycGAKr5 |

Did you have the dealership use your VIN to look up the right part number? Yepee can look up the correct part number

Have fun getting the trans out.
What a pain in the A$$! My engine and trans is married, and they are telling me "NO" to a separation. ![]() ![]() |

Digging further leads me to this part number: 30537-0H610. ( https://parts.courtesynissan.com/p/N...537-0H610.html )
I'm up in Dallas. The nissan site for Richardson doesn't say it /doesn't/ have that part in stock, but I can't be sure. I went to a local machine shop and they said they could build a new one out of 4140 and heat treat it (because he has no idea what it's made out of) for.......................$180 ![]() |

Possible it can be replaced with a dowel pin from McMaster-Carr.com if you can find it by size. They have a great search engine on their site to help you narrow it down.
