The clutch release fork pin snapped off! What is the part number?
I thought it was p/n 30537, but the part I picked up from Nissan is around 3/4" longer than the original! I don't know if I should just send it and pay the consequences later or what!

Did you have the dealership use your VIN to look up the right part number? Yepee can look up the correct part number

yeah, I see different ones... one is out of production.. would need last 8 digits of your vin so I can pull up the correct one for you

comes up no longer available from Nissan.... sorry I did run a dealer locate... one dealer came up.. in HI King Windward Nissan 808-235-6433 locate last up-dated 4/07 so he may actually have it.. or run it on the internet, hopefully someone closer |

Digging further leads me to this part number: 30537-0H610. ( https://parts.courtesynissan.com/p/N...537-0H610.html )
I'm up in Dallas. The nissan site for Richardson doesn't say it /doesn't/ have that part in stock, but I can't be sure. I went to a local machine shop and they said they could build a new one out of 4140 and heat treat it (because he has no idea what it's made out of) for.......................$180 Quote:

Possible it can be replaced with a dowel pin from McMaster-Carr.com if you can find it by size. They have a great search engine on their site to help you narrow it down.
