Default 1994 interior to 1988

I am swapping engines, wiring harnesses and interior from a 1994 HB to a 1988 HB. I have just about everything out of the 1994. I am swapping the dash, carpet and all the trim pieces. Can I leave of the 1988 heater ducts, heater core, blower assembly etc. or do they need to be swapped out as well?

if i remember correctly the core and box are the same and the ducts are close to the same, but why not just pull the ducts too just in case it really wont be that hard with the dash out of the way

I know on my 91 I only changed the ducts from the box. They are different.

All the boxes can stay. The ducting to left and right side plus the very middle ducting that comes up to the middle of the – are the only pieces that need to swap out. AC evaporator box blower motor and heater core box can stay in place.
My stable of Nissan trucks includes:
1987 Nissan King Cab(full frame off Restoration).
