I know that one you are talking about. Ive got no idea what the little one goes to but I chased that rough idle for a week when whatever was on it got knocked off. The big ones does not got directly to the EGR. The EGR is computer controlled and all the solenoid does is allow or shut off vacuum to the valve. I can't go look though. All that stuff is gone.

What pressure regulator?

If you've got the EGR disconnected and everything else looks good I'd just cap those vacuum ports off. Ive got all sorts of color caps all over. I still get crap MPGs though and the big motor and towing doesn't help!

The fuel pressure regulator.

Yeah, the little cap keeps blowing off. I added some black Permatex to it this time. Maybe it will stick.

I re-routed that pressure regulator vacuum line to the throttle body. I saw a diagram that illustrated the correct set up.

Just applied some vacuum to my AB-valve. Turns out the thing doesn't open. maybe that's why I get so many backfires. (It's always the simplest things.)

OK guys, where can I find a new AB-valve? Don't see one at local parts store or on rock auto.

Me either, but for the price difference it might be worth the gamble.

Just make sure your credit card company allows for fraud protection.

If there is a PayPal purchase option, go that route.

I convinced myself that I had nothing better to do tonight, so I checked the codes. I get code 51 (injector.)

These are two newish injectors that both have the correct resistance, and I get the correct power and ground at all the right ECU pins. And my harness wires were soldered. Not really sure what to make of this. Can a new injector fail and still ohm out to spec?
