Default Stuck replacing rear bushings

I'm currently stuck at this part of the disassemble. How did you guys remove the spring from the front "eyelet"? Please advise.

Use something like a socket extension to punch it through.

Will give it a go. Thank you for the quick responses. From what I've been reading I thought this would be an easy deal. Maybe others aren't as rusty as my truck is.

Mine seems like it's welded. The bolt is almost smashed to bits and it moved about a quarter inch...this might beat the lca in my case.

That you need to work out by twisting it back and forth. Try clamping on to it with a big pair of vise grips. Or just light the bushings on fire.
