2002 Xterra 3.3 to VG34??? - Infamous Nissan

I am new to the Nissan SUV world, I want to get more horse power and torque from my Gen 1 without going broke. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to change my VG33e into a VG34 and have it run reliably?
I understand the boring my block .060 and putting VQ45 pistons (reliefs cut?) with a 22mm bore for the wrist pin in, and keeping my VG33 heads and having my cams reground at schneider cams.
Any suggestions on getting the computer redone? Anything I am missing? Your help is greatly appreciated.
