Talking Want new exhaust

I have a 1995 Nissan HB 2wd 2.4 L I want to make my Nissan sound more like a tuner. I want to change my exhaust, I had thought about a flowmaster 40 series or a glass pack but I have heard a couple on YouTube and I don't want mine to sound like trash I'm not sure if that is possible but if there is anyone that can help that would be great thanks

Welcome to INfamous

I'm going to be replacing my muffler and tail pipe soon, I did the cat already. I'm going with Borla muffler mainly because I like them, had one on my former 87 hardbody V6, I know it won't sound the same since I have the 2.4 but I still like them.

I heard one truck in a video on Youtube that sounded pretty good but I think it also was the V6.

> I don't want mine to sound like trash

Think about it: If you have an unmodified 4-cylinder, a loud exhaust is not going to make it sound like a high-powered machine.

Air/Fuel mixture tuner.

He probably meant to say he wanted to make his truck sound like it has been professionally tuned or has a lot of engine work with a tuner installed.

Its kinda like when I was in highschool we would watch all the cars drive down the main street and pick out which ones were the losers who had unnecessary/big exhausts before we could see the back.

Thats kinda what I am picking this guy actually wants to do.

I have got kinda different attitude in regards to the exhaust. I've got a D40 (2012) Pathfinder with 4.0 L V6, and I totally like the way it sounds... Well, honestly I liked the way it sounded before my muffler exploded due to some stuff closing the outlet. So now I want to get it replaced with something very close to what I had before (https://www.carid.com/exhaust-mufflers/). Though, I feel the dealer has got the piece way overpriced, so now I am looking for an alternative thing. Must say, it's a real headache to drive THAT loud.... To me at least

I got my whole exhaust system custom made. Cheaper than the crap from anywhere else too and I supported a local shop.

I did the same. Everything custom from the manifold back.

a true exhaust shop can custom bend any config for any vehicle in about an hour. the guy i use can look at the car with nothing more than a tape measure........then he grabs the pipe and makes a bend. then he goes back under the car, looks again with the pipe and tape measure and a marker, takes a measurement, makes a mark on the pipe for the bend and repeats it a couple of times and its done.

and he loves cash money out the door. no tracer if you forget to ask for the kitty if you know what i mean.
