Default Idle

So ive been driving my KA24DE swapped HB for a little while now and the only thing i havent really figured out is the idle...

where to i start? timing is set right. im idling at 1400 or so and sometimes it drops to 1100 but it doesnt stay there. where do i start?

i read through the FSM and it doesnt mention all the points that play with idle ie FIC, adjustment screws which i have played with and well im sure i screwed them up. if i missed something thats already on here that i didnt find during my search of the forum for the complete process of setting the idle, verifying all setting, even the one i read "DONT EVER TOUCH THAT SCREW" well i did, as i have with all screws, please help me out.

Could be a number of things, but check to see if the A/C's high-idle solenoid is stuck on or misinstalled. Assuming there is one ... I don't remember on mine ... A/C's been dead for a long time and just too busy with other projects to fix it! :-{

i have not heard of the AC high idle solenoid. and the IACV was cleaned during the swap. it could be faulty but i was just wondering what needed to be adjusted before buying any electronic. i have the IACV turned all the way in.

if you ordered a thermo element, it may come compressed in a little frame contraption so dont think its wrong when you first look at it, just make sure you have the old one out and the new ready to go in before you release it from its cage lol, you have some time, but it will expand, if you ordered a solenoid... forget what I just said lol
