Default Opinions on these

https://www.amazon.com/NTHREEAUTO-Se...motive&sr=1-45

Thinking about using these, instead of the $80 replacement blinkers. The issue is my truck has 3 wires at the connector ( grn/red grn/wht & Black ) assuming one just needs to be grounded, it should be a decent upgrade. Already know I will be making brackets if I go this route. Opinions on any aspect of this are welcome>>>

If it's like the other chinese LED motorcycle lights I've wasted money on, water will kill them, or they will burn out in a year or so. That goes for EVERY chinese turn signal, and I've bought many over the years.

They got pretty decent reviews, but I'll take your advice and keep looking. I also need them to be on When NOT blinking and these seem to be blinkers only. The search continues. any other ideas on alternatives for these are also welcome.

What's wrong with the current blinkers? Do you need the whole assembly or just the covers?

BOTH.
The covers are cracked and brittle.
The housings have rusty receptacles and do not make a good contact. New ones with 3 wires are $80 on Amazon, the 2 wire ones are $20-$30 BUT i already spent $$$ on the LEDs and If I'm spending more money, I might as well go for an upgrade instead of hacking a bunch of used stuff together. The ones I got from the JY are 2 wire, the housings and one lens are cracked, and the receptacle aren't much better.

I am just trying to think "outside" the box. These types of parts are running scarce unless you're a bazillionaire

Rockauto has them for 20 each for the assembly. +5% from here.

So, 3 wire have running light and TS. 2 wire is TS only. All depends on what you want. If you know what you're doing, the lights above should work.

I have no idea of their "weather proofing", but being they listed for bikes, I would hope. Just note WHERE that they are made and expect the life span may be short(er). May even get 2 pair? ...or a spare?

Also, read the reviews! Towards the bottom... not all good.

Probably at least as bad as a Jeep so worse than a cow.

I saw those, but I cant tell and it doesn't say in the description, if they are 3 or 2 wires. the pic shouw only 2, but they all use the same stock picture, plus their Shipping rates can get kind of Krazy at times. Amazon ships for free.
