245 / 65 / 16 on 2wd d21 ? - Infamous Nissan

I found some 245 75 16 (tundra 929 gst wheels, just like mine) tires for sale cheap locally, and i'm wondering if 245's will rub on a 2wd d21 ?

I would think it would rub.

Those 245’s MIGHT not rub if you change out the D21 fenders to Pathfinder fenders.

But remember that those rims are for full sized truck dimensions. Not a mini truck.

Not sure. Those are pretty much the same size as 31x10.5/15s, which came stock on a 4wd.

So, got a floor jack and a 4-way? Go see and ask if you can mount for fit... takes you 15 mins to swap out the fronts (only) and see for yourself.

What was the stock wheel diameter on a D21? 14" with a 75 series tire so the short answer is yes.

Also you're enlarging the overall diameter of the wheel so you're gonna mess up the speedo reading bad, like to the tune of more than a 10 mph difference in the wrong direction.

My guess is they'll work great if all you're doing is driving up and down your arrow straight, glass smooth driveway.

It seems that going with 245/50R16 would keep the speedometer right where you want it, and is a relatively inexpensive tire. Would the width be a problem, though? I'm in the same boat, got some 16" wheels for cheap and now I'm looking at tires to get for my stock 2WD D21.
