Pathfinder/Hardbody hubs - Infamous Nissan

Anyone know if there is a difference between the hubs for the pathfinder and d21? There is a 96 d21 at LKQ with manual locking hubs. It would be fantastic if it were a direct swap. The would be going on my 87 japanese made pathfinder.

The 4wd hubs do swap. Take the guts with them and the snap rings. I did the swap on my pathy.

86-89 pickup and Pathfinder were 27 spine axle shafts, also 90-93 pickup 4 cylinder are 27 spline

94-01 4cyl pickup were 28 spine as is 90-01 pickup (including Frontier) & Pathfinder V6

best bet would be to count the spines on both trucks to verify

Thanks Devin and Tony....the manual hubs are on a 96 model. At least i know what swaps.

Hub on a 96 pathy or a 97 D21? 96 pathy is a R50. Didn't think they had external locking hubs.

As long as the spline count is the same.it should work. I've got warns from a old 2 door V6 pathy on my truck.

I double checked....it is a V6 92 model truck.

I had Warn hubs on my former 94, found them in a junkyard. I always recommend warn because they stand behind their products, they sent me parts I needed to rebuild the hubs even after I told them I got them from the junkyard, for free !

Make sure they are the same spline count. Not sure what year they change but they do change from 27 to 28.
