Tossed mine, unfortunately, when I installed the HD OEM bumper 31 years ago ...

It was a fairly simple piece, so could be fabricated by a good body shop, if you can't find one on a donor in a junkyard, etc.

How about a cool roll pan?

This would be a nice addition to your truck. I found a shop that makes them on eBay. They are pretty nice! A fabrication shop could make a panel for your truck pretty easily. Just draw up a few designs and submit it to the shop. A few renderings will be made and you could go from there.

I like the retro look of the original.

You’ll need to look for an “E” model D21, as these trucks are basically a stripped down model with little to no extras. My ‘89 D21 with the NAP-Z motor was an “E” model(entry level model). Most “E” models, like mine, had the rear filler panel and no actual bumper. The only extra that came on mine was air conditioning. You could sign up on the LKQ aka Pick-a-Part for e-mail updates when a D21 comes into a nearby yard(s) near you. My rear filler panel was color matched and held on with four 10mm philips/hex head combo bolt heads. So very easy to remove. License plate holder was part of the panel as well.
