What have you done to your D21 today?! - Page 558 - Infamous Nissan

Removed the mess of wires that was the aftermarket cruise control. Whoever installed it haphazardly tapped into the coil wires but they seem to be in decent shape yet, hopefully no need to replace them.
After replacing the distributor cap and rotor I played with the timing again and the engine is back to where it was before, idling a bit above 1k and surging every so often to 1.5k.
I tried to check if it was a vacuum line by crimping the hoses one by one with a pliers but there was no difference. I might try and check the egr but I don't fully understand the diagnostic procedure outlined in the fsm.

This bullshit happened today. Went out to my truck to find my passenger window shattered. Looked inside and there were rocks. Someone threw fucking rocks at my window.. I hate it at my university. Ive been hit twice, and now this. Not even sure where to go from here. Im not in my home town, guess i'll call my insurance and see where it takes me.

Dude, that is super lame. I dunno what your deductible is but insurance probably won't be worth reporting it to.

Yeah it sucks man.. What should I do? Should I call one of those mobile glass places tomorrow and just have someone come do it? I cant drive home until about Saturday sooo

I would hit up a salvage yard and do it myself, much cheaper. You could always put plastic over it if you can't fix it right away.
