That is it. It is a different code but it is still emissions related.

UPDATE: I found out that the replacement canister I put in was actually for a 1995 California model. I got another OEM one of the correct part number and put it in. When I took the wrong one off, it had some liquid gasoline drip out. I looked into it and that’s not supposed to happen. It should only be vapor going in and out of the canister. Both canisters look pretty much identical but the 1995 one was $50 and the 1996 one was about $200. Not sure why the big price difference. No return of the p0446 code yet, so I hope that was the only problem.

Code went away? Well, that's a good sign. Good luck.

UPDATE #2:
Code came back even after the proper OEM canister was put in. Started looking into it possibly being a chassis ground problem since the speedo gauge was acting erratically as well. The original ground connections in the engine bay and the body-to-block grounds were pretty rusty and weathered. I removed them and sanded the harness connections clean and I replaced the straps with new thicker ones. No code return yet!
