That is probably true. LEDs are directional, and the impedance (resistance) is nowhere near that of an incandescent bulb. They act very differently.

Hey, that is a cool feature. I will do this to my truck sometime over the summer. Copied your plans there for later. Thanks.

What about doing the opposite of this on a 1993 D21 KA24E? I'd like my turn signal lamps to stay on as running lights, the turn signal only has 2 wires coming out of it and there is no option for fog lights on the vehicle. I already spliced some CCFL halo headlights into the corner lights to come on as running lights, if I splice the turn signals into the corner lights will everything become a turn signal? I'm so lost, halp! Thankz

Sorry to "Reserect" an old thread... but I want to delete the bumper turn signal for a combo corner marker/turn signal. It would appear this will work for me if I follow the recipe, much easier than trying to adapt a dual fil. or adding a 194 to the corner, correct?

With a little wiring knowledge it should be hard to do exactly what you want. I'd probably go dual filament though. Just easier to work with.

Ok. My only worry with a bigger dual is cooking the housing. And screwing up the mounting hole...

Also less is more, especially with wiring

LED. Less heat, less current and more lumens. I've almost converted every light on my truck to LED. Only downfall is the snow no longer melts off of the housings.
