Default Carrier bearing issue...

So I have a 3 inch drop in front and a 4 inch drop in back via lowering blocks with a 2 degree shim. My carrier bearing went out the other day. I heard something about raising the carrier bearing is that even possible? If not give me some tips so I don't blow this thing out again

If you have enough room, I would have a solid shaft made.

Or you could get spacers and longer bolts to accommodate the spacers to raise it up a bit.
