Is this about how far your hood lacks from latching or sitting flush?



It looks like that mechanism has moved some (as seen by the relatively clean painted surface).

This bottom bolt just looks like it is connected to messed up sheet metal.



I'll try to remember to get pictures when I get home (in the car, right now) unless someone can beat me to it.

if I raise the mechanism up as high as it will go the hood us off at the fenders and won’t latch.
If I lower the mechanism to its lowest point the hood is even with the fenders and still won’t latch.
